Good morning, everyone, 

In view of the exceptional circumstances around the COVID-19, the Organizing Committee has officially decided to cancel the International Educators' Freinet Meeting 2020 (RIDEF 2020). It was not a decision taken with joy, after five years of collaborative work, but in the current context, it is a decision that was taken for granted and in accordance with the recommendations and measures announced daily by the public authorities (WHO and governments). We couldn ́t help it. 

The RIDEF will not be postponed until 2021 for many reasons, including local and global economic instability, events organised by different movements and associations in the odd years and RIDEF 2022 in Morocco. 

From now on, the Organizing Committee will begin work to close the organization of RIDEF 2020 and to reimburse participants for their expenses. The Organising Committee will keep you regularly informed through the RIDEF website and through the Facebook page. 

We would like to thank all the people who have supported us throughout this beautiful project, both locally and internationally. 

We invite you to take care of yourself and your loved ones. As Freinet said in 1924, "We are not alone”,
